beautiful vegetables

Berkeley, California.
A town where recycling is mandatory and farmer’s markets are implied.
M. took me to the Tuesday Farmer’s Market, held at Derby Street. We worshipped and nibbled our way through the many friendly vendors. Here are some of our findings . . .
Ripe, organic Warren pears, $3.90 per pound.
Organic, raw California almonds & walnuts, Full Belly Farm.
Organic swiss chard, Full Belly Farm.
Organic turnips & tulip, Full Belly Farm.
Organic union labor broccoli, $2.00 a pound.
Organic lemons & kumquats.
Swing by tomorrow for more glamour shots.
