Despite my aversion to most cheeses, one of my favorite foods is definitely pizza. And yes, pizza is most certainly considered a food.
While on vacation in Berkeley, M. took me & S. to dine at Pizzaiolo, founded by Chez Panisse alum Charlie Hallowell.

That evening was the first time I tried wild nettles. They made me feel smarter.

And I guess I need to eat wild nettles and feel smarter…because I don’t know what wild nettles are.
yum!!! so, you need to come back asap, because boot & shoe service = younger, more hip offshoot of pizzaiolo = even more delicious pizza (w/calabrian sausage and peppers) accompanied by burrata, little gems, and delicious cocktails
